Why is a ppn better than other data transfer communication products?

Because a ppn uses a patent-pending secure pipeline technology and a proprietary advanced encryption management system that is integrate into a secure zero configuration network. It is the best and most cost effective secure data transfer system available.

Computer networks and the private, sensitive, confidential and trade secret information that is regularly transferred between the participants of a network are inherently vulnerable to cyber-spying and cyber-crime attacks from unauthorized parties. This is true of both “internal” and “public” networks. The only solution to these cyber-crime risks is to strongly encrypt the data to be transferred. This can be done by first encrypting the data file and thereafter attaching the encrypted data file to an email and sending the encrypted data to the authorized recipient. Another, more effect and less cumbersome approach is to create a highly secure pipeline between the sender and the authorized receiver(s) of the private, sensitive, confidential or trade secret data file.

Thereafter, as part of the secure pipeline transfer process, an automated procedure highly encrypts the data file and all of the routing control information. This encrypted bundle is securely transferred to the authorized recipient(s) where it is automatically decrypted for the recipient(s). Upon the completion of the data file transfer activities the sender’s and the recipients’ computer storage areas are securely scrubbed clean of any information residue. The secure pipeline is securely scrubbed and security dismantled. For a discussion of network security see: Cyber-security and the Networked Environment

Many individuals and organizations are now using or considering using wireless equipment and networks as a part of their computer systems. Currently, many wireless networks have security vulnerabilities. With respect to data transfer, a ppn eliminates wireless security vulnerabilities. a ppn provides significant communications security advantages over wire, cable, fiber optics and other forms of wireline and wireless communications transmission.

A ppn is very unique in that it provides a “securely closed” network rather than the commonly used "open" file-sharing network. It is securely closed because ppn requires a network participant to specifically identify and authorize the encrypted shipment of a data file to one or more participants on the a ppn private network. This secure access control feature eliminates the risk and security vulnerabilities common in open file-sharing systems.

Operational Demonstrations on ppn are now available at "Using a ppn"
